To remove the Taskbar and Start Menu icon from My Computer, follow these steps:
1.Click Start, Run and type Regedit.exe
2.Navigate to the following branch:

4.Navigate to the following branch:
5.Delete the sub-key named {0DF44EAA-FF21-4412-828E-260A8728E7F1}
6.Close Regedit.exe
2.Navigate to the following branch:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Explorer \ MyComputer \ NameSpace
3.Delete the sub-key named {0DF44EAA-FF21-4412-828E-260A8728E7F1}
4.Navigate to the following branch:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Explorer \ MyComputer \ NameSpace
5.Delete the sub-key named {0DF44EAA-FF21-4412-828E-260A8728E7F1}
6.Close Regedit.exe
